15-7PH Stainless Steel(UNS S15700/DIN W. Nr. 1.4532)
Features
Here you will see our 15-7PH semi-austenitic precipitation hardening stainless steel. This metal demonstrates high strength and hardness as well as good corrosion resistance. Its general corrosion resistance level in TH 1050 and RH 950 conditions is superior to standard hardened chromium type 400 series stainless steels but is not as good as chromium-nickel type 304.
Applications
This type of metal is often used to produce welded and brazed honeycomb panels, aircraft bulkheads, springs, and retaining rings to name a few applications.
