Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Single-row cylindrical roller bearings are designed with a separable structure that is comprised of both inner and outer rings, and feature a high load capacity that is suitable for large electrical machinery, machine tool spindles and gearboxes and more. Based on the different structures, we offer a variety of types, including the N-type, NU-type, NUP-type and NF-type. Users can choose the right bearing for their needs.

Types NU and N are suitable as free-end bearings. Types NJ and NF can sustain limited axial loads in one direction. Types NUP can be used as fixed-end bearings.

Our recommendations are below, based on the different single row cylindrical roller bearing structures.

N-type Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings(RIN,RN)

N-type bearings support only a radial load. The inner ring features ribs on both sides, and the outer ring is cylindrical with no ribs, which allow the bearing to shift in both directions in a relative axial direction between the shaft and bearing seat. These bearings are suitable for ball mills, aligning belt bearings, transmission boxes, gear transmission devices, mud pumps and more.

Parameter
NU type Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings(RIU, RU)

Similar to N-type bearings, NU-type bearings only support radial loads, and an internal ring design with no ribs, and an outer ring design with ribs on both sides. NU bearings are suitable for use in compressors, pumps, mining equipment, transmissions and more. They are not ideal for trust load working conditions. In addition, there is only a small friction caused by axial displacement between two rings when the NU bearing rotates.

Parameter
NJ type Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings (RIU, RJ)

The inner rings of the NJ type single row cylindrical roller bearings are designed with a one sided rib, while the outer rings have ribs on both sides. This allows these bearings to not only support high radial loads, but also single direction axial loads that are equal to 10% of the radial load, allowing the bearings to be used as single direction axial load bearings. We offer NJ single row cylindrical roller bearings for conveyor driving devices, gear driving devices, fixed pulleys, and crushing equipment.

Parameter
NUP type Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings(RIP, RP)

Both the inner rings and outer rings on the NUP single row cylindrical roller bearings are designed with ribs on both sides. However, one side of the ribs are fixed, while the other is removable, thus allowing the bearing to withstand a double direction axial load. These bearings are widely used in rotary joints, vertical milling machines, ball mills, and rolling mills for the production of cement, power generation, oil field equipment and more.

Parameter
NF type Single Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings(RIF, RF)

The inner ring on NF type single row cylindrical roller bearings is designed with ribs on both sides, and like NJ-type bearings, the outer ring has ribs on a single side that are capable of supporting a certain axial load in a single direction. NF bearings are often used for winches, movable pulleys, gear boxes, and transmission boxes.
