Nylon Conveyor Belt
Nylon is a kind of fiber featuring good mechanical properties such as good flexibility, high strength and nice fatigue resistance. As a result, the nylon conveyor belt is widely used for conveying high-density bulk materials like ores and coals which will cause large impact and serious abrasion. However, the nylon conveyor belt is not suitable for the transportation of heated or greasy goods.
Features
- The nylon conveyor belt's high tensile strength is as four times as that of the cotton canvas conveyor belt.
- Good impact resistance thanks to the excellent elasticity of the nylon fabric.
- Nylon conveyor belting has better water-, acid-and base resistance than the general cotton canvas conveyor belt.
- The fabric conveyor belting features good flexibility and troughability to adapt to the pulley.
- High adhesion strength between different layers.
- Less layer plies than the cotton conveyor belt achieves lower unit weight and less energy consumption.
- Longer service life to guarantee the production continuity and reduce production cost.
