Hastelloy G-30 (UNS N06030) Corrosion-resistant alloy
Features
HASTELLOY G-30 is an enhanced version of nickel-chromium-iron molybdenum-copper alloy G-3 and contains a high amount of Cr. This alloy has greater corrosion resistance compared to other nickel-based alloys, making it suitable for use in applications where it may be exposed to commercial phosphoric acids and environments with highly oxidizing acids as well. G-30 alloy is adaptable to most chemical process applications in an as-welded condition thanks to its resistance to the formation of grain boundaries active in the heat-affected zone.
