Low Viscosity Polyanionic Cellulose (PAC LV)

Landoil PAC-LV, also known as low viscosity polyanionic cellulose, is a highly effective filtrate reducer in fresh or salty water. It is also an effective thinner in salty water at low concentrations.

Applications

Landoil PAC-LV can be used in any form of water-based drilling fluid such as saturated salt water, it aims at effectively reducing filtrate loss without raising viscosity. Landoil PAC-LV works well as an excellent shale encapsulater and inhibitor in medium to high concentrations.

Advantages
  • Landoil PAC-LV is effective in all types of water based muds, including saturated salt water
  • Effective in small concentrations for filtrate reduction
  • Effective in medium to high concentrations to encapsulate shale particles for shale dispersion inhibition
  • Effective at moderate to high pH
  • Non-toxic and non-fermented
  • High degree of substitution (DS), Landoil PAC-LV has excellent high temperature resistance and salt tolerance
  • Compliant with API 13A standard (A.V.: max. 40 cps, Filtrate volume: max. 16ml)
