Pressure Vacuum Vent
Tank Truck Vents
Designed to prevent excessive pressure and vacuum buildup in fuel tankers during filling, discharging and tanker movement
Maintaining safe pressure balance inside fuel tanks is essential for both operational safety and equipment longevity. That’s why DESEINOR offers a pressure vacuum vent designed to prevent dangerous pressure buildup or vacuum conditions during fuel loading, unloading, and transit movement.
Engineered to stop fuel spillage in the event of a tanker rollover and with ADR-compliant performance, this vent simplifies maintenance by reducing internal components by 45% making maintenance faster and easier compared to conventional models. A single 1.5"/12 hex nut mounted at the base of the manhole lift valve allows it to endure extreme shock, vibration, and impact conditions. In the event of a tanker rollover or other accident, the valve automatically seals in reverse to prevent fuel leakage. This has consistently demonstrated its reliability in real-world operations, helping to safeguard lives, prevent accidents, and avoid costly fuel spills that could result environmental hazards.
- The vent delivers an exhaust flow rate of 1,900 SCFH at 3 psig.
- Under a vacuum of 1 psig, it provides a flow rate of 4,000 SCFH.
- It can be installed directly into standard 10-inch manhole covers, allowing easy integration into existing systems.
- The design is lightweight and durable, weighing only 14.4 ounces, making it suitable for rugged fuel transport environments.
- Tool-free maintenance and cleaning simplify service operations and reduce downtime.
- A built-in dust screen prevents foreign objects from entering the valve core, protecting internal components.
