Application of Radial Leaded Glass Encapsulated NTC Thermistor

This negative temperature coefficient thermistor finds an application in food probe, water dispenser, coffeemaker, car temperature sensor, electronic clinical thermometer and so forth.

Matters Need Attention
  • The radial leaded glass encapsulated NTC thermistor cannot be used in the air as the air temperature difference is large and will cause a deviation of 1-2 ℃.
  • After being put into the high-precision thermostatic bath, effective data can be obtained only when the temperature is stable.
  • The testing voltage should be as low as possible to reduce the testing error caused by the self-heating of NTC materials.
  • Under high temperature, a thermometer should be used for adjustable the temperature of thermostatic bath.
