Emergency Release Coupler (ERC)
CCLPEC emergency release coupler is mainly used to ensure the operation safety, it will be activated in emergency situations or the tanker drifts exceeding the working envelope of loading arm. Designed with double ball valve, the ERC unit can provide efficient protection for personnel and equipment by closure of the two ball valves and release of the coupler to accomplish the disconnection operation.
Cryogenic emergency release coupler is featured by valve body and balls which are made of forged stainless steel treated by liquid nitrogen, preventing the valve body and balls from being deformed under cryogenic conditions.
PERC (powered emergency release coupling) adopts linkage mechanism based on fixed point principle, it ensures high reliability of valve closure even if the cylinder pressure failure occurs.
The closing speed of double ball valve is adjustable within 5-30 seconds, and PERC uncouples within 2 seconds.
After emergency releasing, assembly tool kit is available for rapid and easy reassembly.
