RO Membrane Modules
RO membrane module is used as core water filtration unit in reverse osmosis (RO) water purification system that is suitable for various water treatment applications, typically seawater desalination and wastewater recovery. Same as the CMF module, reverse osmosis module requires external pressure to produce high purity water by forcing water permeate the membrane that filters out salts and other dissolved solids. RO membrane module consists of pressure vessels (membrane housing) where reverse osmosis membrane is placed, and other components like module frame, pipe and valve. In seawater desalination plants, RO water filtration system is usually configured with two-stage or multi-stage separation process to produce purified water that is compliant with national standards for drinking water safety.
- Extremely low operating pressure, high water production rate;

- Excellent resistance to chemical or biological contamination;
