Alloy Circular Slitter Blade
Application
The circular corrugated cardboard cutting blade is mainly used on thin blade slitter for the slitting of cardboard, three-layer honeycomb board, five-layer honeycomb board, seven-layer honeycomb board. Seton has its own alloy pressing and sintering workshops, with advanced technology and excellent processing equipment, not only satisfying customers' demands on various tungsten carbide products, but also reducing their purchasing costs.
Material introduction
According to different layers and thickness of the slitting corrugated cardboard, different machines, the common materials are HSS, tungsten carbide (YG8, YG10, YG12X, YG15). The YG8 produced by Seton is pressed and sintered from 8% Co and WC. The higher the percentage of Co content, the higher the alloy blades' strength.

- Adopting Seton unique alloy formulation, the blades have high hardness and high abrasion resistance, with a service life of 8,000,000-9,500,000m2.
- With advanced grinders and testing equipment, Seton's circular slitting blade edges have no burrs, and the slitting cardboards have good effect.
- After surface grinding and polishing, the blade runout is small, reducing the blade abrasion and customers' sharpening frequency.
- Seton has its own blade grinder wheel, so that after grinding the blade edge is smooth and without burrs.
Customization range
According to the difference of customers' machines and the slitting cardboard layers and thickness, Seton can recommend proper blade materials and blade edge design for customers, to improve the cutting efficiency. We can carry out production as customers' drawings.
