Guide Needle and Guide Bar for Warp Knitting Machine

Guide needles are one of the highest wearing and most consumable components on warp knitting machines. The guide needles must have a superior wear resistance because yarn runs back and forth in the needle holes 24 hours a day in most factories.

To improve the hardness and strength, all YS guide needles are chrome plated, and all guide needle stamping dies are precisely designed to eliminate as much burrs on the surface and needle holes as we can to reduce the amount of friction between yarn and needle hole during the knitting process. All guide needles are further treated with polishing and chemical deburring again to optimize the needle hole smoothness.

The bar piece is usually die casted with 90-95% tin with a mixture of an appropriate amount of non-ferrous metal. The tin bar has an excellent performance for hardness and ductility, and is not easy to deform. It also features an outstanding corrosion and rust resistance. Upon customer request, we can also manufacture these bars using plastics or engineering plastics with a higher hardness, lighter weight, and lower cost than tin.
