Solid State Voltage Regulator

The NNT series of solid state voltage regulator is the module which includes a controlled silicone switch circuit, resistance-capacitance phase-shifting circuit, lagging circuit and over voltage absorption circuits. Our solid state voltage regulator uses the inflaming retarding engineering plastics shell, epikote potting and screw thread terminal wring, so, the voltage regulator features a strong compact structure, impact and shock resistance, novel structure and safe use. The regulator only need to extra install one potentiometer to conduct the adjustment of the alternative current power. The solid state voltage regulator just needs to input the 0~5VDC or (0~10VDC) voltage when in use and it can replace the heavy contact type voltage regulator in many occasions. The solid state voltage regulator is applied to adjust the analog quantities like power, voltage, temperature, luminance and speed in petrochemical industry machines, food machinery, packaging machinery, textile machinery and stage light.

  • Installation mode: The solid state voltage regulator adopts a wall-mounted vertical installation mode, and the power supply is upper in and lower out. Each terminal of copper wire must be cleaned and cleared of debris and fix the screw to avoid the heating and damaging of the terminal.
  • The A B C inlet-outlet wire of the three-phase alternative current circuit has no phase sequence requirement, and the thickness of the leads depends on the practical current. The output terminal of A B C connects the load.
  • Over current protection: The user should check whether the device has short circuit when over current occurs. The user can install the fast acting fuse in front of the A B C inlet wire of the product, and then Google to find the fast acting fuse according to 1.5 times of practical load current.
  • The solid state voltage regulator should be equipped with a heat sink, the user should be sure to make enough space between the regulator and the other device and the user can install the air fan to dissipate heat if necessary. The heat dissipation effect not only depends on the magnitude of the practical current, heat sink size, but also depends on the environmental temperature (summer, winter), atmospheric conditions (natural cooling, force cooling and air volume) and installation intensity.
  • The product should be de-rated when selecting the right mode, the resistive load should be selected to about 60% of nominal value, the silicon carbide rod load should be selected to about 30% of nominal value, and the motor load should be selected to about 15% of nominal value.
