Water-Soluble Thread, High temperature Dissolving
Water-soluble thread that dissolves at high temperatures, is a white thread that shrinks in low water temperatures. It is widely used in textile industries for manufacturing shrink fabrics.
Our products are available in 3 different dissolving temperatures for customers to choose from according to their requirements: 70℃, 80℃, and 90℃.
- Common Applications of Water-Soluble Thread, Dissolving at 70℃
① Blended with fabrics such as wool to manufacture a fine count yarn.
② Used in weaving process to enhance the strength of woven yarn.
③ Taking advantage of its shrinkage in low water temperatures and dissolving temperatures for the manufacturing of shrink fabric. - Common Applications of Water-Soluble Thread, Dissolving at 80℃, 90℃
① Combining with cotton yarn to produce twistless yarn for manufacturing twistless towels. This water-soluble thread gives the towel a fluffy effect, and ensures it is soft to the touch with a high water absorption.
② Combining with cotton yarn to produce combed yarn for manufacturing high-end shirt fabrics with a better wrinkle resistance and better air permeability.
③ Spinning with cotton fiber, bamboo fiber, Modal fiber, and other fibers to increase the spinnability and spinnable fiber count.
④ ④ Used in sock manufacturing to temporarily connect socks. After the socks have been dyed, they are separated by washing off the water soluble thread to save costs.
⑤ Used in carton manufacturing, it improves the carton folding resistance and strength. During the carton’s pulp recycling process, wash off water-soluble thread to decrease labor costs and avoid environmental pollution.
