Cyclone Sand Washer, Hydrocyclone Sand Separators
Hydrocyclones, or Cyclones are used in a variety of mining processing applications, including sand washing, classification, and dewatering.
Most artificial sand production lines use a wet sand making process, but no matter what sand washer is used, there is a significant disadvantage with a loss of fine sand (particles below 0.16mm)- some with a larger than 20% loss rate. This not only results in a significant financial loss, but also influences the grading distribution rate of the sand, thus negatively affecting quality. If too much fine sand is discharged, environmental pollution is a significant risk.
To combat this problem, combining physical characteristics of the sand, we designed a , which features a high fouling processing capacity, and high purification extraction rate, allowing it to recycle sand particles over 0.2m, with a sand loss controlled between 5 and 10%. This sand washer is often installed on the end of a sandstone production line in order to reduce the loss of fine sand, and decreases environmental pollution- all while allowing the sand to be used for an increase in economic value.
