The YB series prefabricated substation is designed and manufactured according to IEC standard. It is mainly made up of the enclosure, transformer,low voltage switchgear and high voltage switchgear.

This novel style electrical substation offers small size, aesthetical appearance, reliable and safe operation, low maintenance and convenient installation. It is often used in the electrical distribution system for mines, oil fields, factories, commercial buildings, high rise buildings, temporary construction sites, as well as residential buildings in rural and urban areas.

Features
1. The enclosure for the prefabricated substation is designed to be ventilative and thermal insulating. It can effectively prevent intrusion of small animals and is convenient for maintenance. According to clients’ demands, the enclosure can be engineered from varied materials, such as metal plate, composite board, and high strength concrete slabs. All metal materials for the substation construction undergo anticorrosive treatment to avoid rustiness in long run.

2. The high voltage side typically employs the pressure type load switch, vacuum load switch, and the SF6 insulated load switch. It comes with a series of protection functions for enhanced safety. The prefabricated substation can be fitted with oil immersed transformer or dry type transformer. The low voltage side utilizes various style of frame-type circuit breaker, molded case circuit breaker, load switch and disconnecting switch.

3. The distribution substation comes with a complete range of protection functions. Optional designs are the high and low voltage measuring device and the automatic reactive power compensation system.

4. Available with temperature control and air ventilation systems, the prefabricated substation can be used in various areas. It can be additionally fitted with a heater to meet the application demands in chilly and high humidity areas.
