Known as wedges and feathers, they are one of the oldest and most effective stone splitting methods. A small wedge or shim in sizes 5/8′ or 3/4′ are ideal for stone yards and stone mases who want to reduce rocks into workable sizes. 1′, 1-1/4′, and 1-3/8′ are the best choices for splitting large rocks. Our high quality wedge and feathers are made for splitting granite and other hard stone.
