Telecom Power Cable Type IV
Telecom power cable Type IV has a conductor of stranded tinned copper wires per ASTM B172 with a separator tape wrapped over it. The limited smoke, non-halogen polyolefin insulation is covered with a separator tape and a natural cotton braid. Fire retardant material is applied over the whole assembly.
Telecom power cable Type IV can be used at 600 volts, 90°C dry, 75℃ wet.
Telecom power cable Type IV is for use in central offices, telecom power systems (batteries and rectifiers), transmission and remote control systems. It is suitable for both fixed and mobile installations. Custom telecom power cable can be made upon request according to different performance requirements.
Our telecom power cable Type IV meets UL 44, UL66 and UL 758 standards. It has passed the following mechanical and electrical tests: FT4-ST1 vertical-tray flame test and smoke release test, VW-1 vertical flame test, FT2 horizontal flame test, aging test on insulation materials, dielectric voltage withstand test, etc.
