Casing Pipe
Casing pipes can be fixed into boreholes when drilling to stabilize the boreholes. Casings should be able to bear various external forces such as collision, burst and pulling and chemical attack.
Casings play the following important roles:
1. Casings can prevent borehole collapse. And it can separate different strata to prevent liquid convection, which can then control stratum fluid and pressure during drilling
2. Casings can assist ground well control equipment and underground production equipment to realize their respective functions.
According to different drilling technologies, different diameters of casings are equipped, which can be self-connecting type and can also be equipped with joint. The drill rod material is generally DZ50 grade or above.
