White Fused Alumina in Grits
White fused alumina grit is high purity material that is produced with a high temperature arc furnace. Its high purity, high micro hardness of 2200 – 2300 kg/mm2 and its low tensile ability make it suitable for applications requiring the minimum contamination of foreign substance and sharp, free cutting abrasive characteristics. This material is recommended primarily for use in the vitrified bonded abrasives and coated abrasives, investment casting markets, monolithic and bonded refractories. This material is available in grit sizes, micron sizes, split sizes.
