99% industrial grade purity anhydrous magnesium chloride, also known as anhydrous magnesium chloride, is provided by our company. Chemical composition%: MgCl2 ≥99.9 %, K≤0.005 %, Na≤0.005%, Ca≤0.005 %, Fe≤0.002 %, Si≤0.002%. The formula is MgCl2 and molecular weight is 95.21. This product is soluble in water and release a lot heat which can be used for temperature adjustment of brine. There are four different specifications of this product, powder 40-120 mesh, powder 120-1000 mesh, particulate and massive.
There are many applications for anhydrous magnesium chloride. In metallurgical industry, it can be used for manufacturing refractories and stove-arm binder. Besides that, it is also taken as raw material for II flux and magnesium smelting. For chemical industry, its main function is for the production of magnesium salts such as magnesium hydroxide, magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate, firecrackers solid lead agent and antifreeze materials, etc. As a construction material, it can be used together with magnesite for manufacturing of hard corrosion-resistant magnesia cement which can be used to produce artificial marble, dolomite W, floors, ceilings, decorative panels, fire panels, greenhouses stands, wall panels, magnesium covers, bathtubs, door frames and mobile homes, etc. In terms of food industry, it can be used in brine for production of delicious tofu. As well as that, it is also taken as food additives. This product is applied in transportation industry as road deicing salt. And it has the feature of fast speed and tiny corrosion compared with sodium chloride. For medical usage, dry brine made of anhydrous magnesium chloride, can be taken as medicine. Last but not least, it can be used in agriculture as magnesium, potassium magnesium fertilizer and cotton defoliants.
