Containerized Seawater Desalination System
Water scarcity is a sweeping environmental problem in many inland areas, especially in desert locations of the world. These areas sometimes have readily available brackish water resources whose salinity levels are too high to use in agricultural, industrial, or domestic applications. This can severely damage the standard of living for local inhabitants. We provide simple, quick, flexible, and cost-effective water supply solutions for these areas that eliminate the need to transport water over long distances which can be extremely expensive. Our equipment can be completely customized according to the demands of the customer.
We provided a land-based desalination plant for a client from Afghanistan. The equipment was used for treating ground water into domestic water and drinking water. The ground water was similar to seawater after investigating its quality, so we designed a containerized seawater desalination plant with water output of 100,000LPD. With reverse osmosis technology, the heavy metal and bacteria in the ground water can be efficiently removed. The treated water complied with World Health Organization's (WHO) Guidelines for drinking-water quality. It can now be safely used as drinking water for the area.
