RTV silicones for LED drivers require some special functions other than waterproof, thermal conduction and flame retardant properties
The use of RTV silicone conformal coating needs the help of a platinum catalyst. But this catalyst will lose its activity when exposed to heavy metals, nitrogen, sulfur and phosphor, thus causing the sealant not to cure. This is common in soldering joints and internal wires. To prevent this situation, we recommend ZS-GF-5299E RTV silicone conformal coating.
Due to electromagnetic interference, the power may be too high or too low after coating. In order to stabilize the power, we recommend ZS-GF-5299Z RTV silicone conformal coating.
During transportation, oil-powder separation is possible, which will affect the product performance. So, shake or stir the sealant before using. And we recommend ZS-GF-5299E RTV silicone conformal coating.
