Video Monitor in United Nations Headquarter
Ruige supplies HD LCD monitors to the UN headquarters. When the UN in the United State was undergoing massive upgrades on their equipment, the simultaneous translation system of its 18 conference rooms needed new LCD monitors, which would be required to be stable, high definition and compatible with both the computer and the general control signal.
After extensive screening among all the monitors produced by numerous global monitor manufacturers, the United States' chief system integrator eventually selected our TL-S1850HD monitor known for its quality, complete functions and stability.
In order to further meet the user requirements, Ruige appointed a United States branch manager and engineer from our research and development center to work with the engineering technicians from the UN. Within a short period of time, Ruige manufactured a sample HD LCD monitor, meeting all the technical requirements and successfully passed product testing.
In accordance with the contract, Ruige provided 73 high definition video monitors in 2012, and 52 in 2014. These monitors were used for simultaneous translation systems and have been gradually installed into the desktop computers of UN conference rooms. As the first Chinese monitor on the world stage, Ruige's monitors are high quality and feature a wider application range.
After hearing about our work with the UN, other United States customers have expressed an interest in us, and have placed orders. One customer, from California and the film industry, described our monitors as follows. "[These monitors] are capable of serving the UN for a long time, and Ruige's LCD monitors are bound to have a high quality, equivalent to that of military products."
