Working principle

As follows is the brief operation of super pressure grinding mill. Motor drives the gear box which powers rotation of mill table. From the material inlet, materials fall onto the center of the mill table. And hot air enters the mill through air inlet. Material moves to edge of the mill table under the centrifugal force and goes into a ring groove where it is grinded by rollers. Then high speed air flow at the place of wing ring carries up grinded material. Big particles fall onto the mill table again for regrinding. Coarse material in the air comes back to the mill table for regrinding when passing through separator due to the effect of revolving rotor. After that, qualified fine material goes out of the mill by air. Then, final product is collected by dust collector.

Super pressure grinding mill has high grinding efficiency, low power consumption and low operation cost. Compared with ball mill, this product can save 40-50% power. In addition, it uses 20-30% less energy in comparison with Raymond mill. The second feature is low wear and tear. To be more specific, the space between roller and ring can be adjusted and take advantage of mutual grinding among material, direct grinding between roller and ring can be avoided, thus extending service life of spare parts. Compared with Raymond mill, the wearing parts lifetime of this product is 40-60% longer. There is a device which can prevent direct contact between roller hard surfacing and the lining plates on the mill table so intense vibration is unlikely to happen. Of course, maintenance and wearing parts replacement of super pressure grinding mill are very convenient to perform. The lining plate and oil jack maintenance can be accomplished within short time by turning the movable arm and roller crupper. Last but not least, there is little vibration and low noise. With good sealing, there is no dust spill.

There are two kinds of movements of oil jack. The first one is roller lift. To lift up the roller, low cavity of the jack is filled with oil. The mill can start up without load. Under this circumstance, repair and maintenance are very convenient. The second type is roller pressure. Standard pressure device is adopted in this machine. Of course, roller quantity, such as 2, 3 or 4 can be changed to meet increasing mill capacity. A series of product with many capacities are available to meet requirements of different materials and capacities.
