Drill Pipe

Fastube drill pipe is a kind ofthick-walled steel pipe with threaded end. It is used on drilling rigs tofacilitate the drilling of a wellbore. The drill pipeis hollow to allow drilling mud to be pumped through it, down the hole and back up theannulus. As it is designed to withstand great pressure and vibration, Fastube drill pipe can be repeatedly used during oil and gas exploiting and refining operations.

Inner diameter change of drill pipe upsettingtransition zone causesstress concentration at the place where the upsettingtransition zone isdisappeared. This is a major cause of drill pipe failure. Therefore, we at Fastube constantly work to improve pipe end upsetting structure, reduce forging deformation and extend the length of upset inner conical surface. As a result of our efforts, Fastube drill pipe inner transitionzone is higher inquality and has a length of over 120mm. This helps reduce stressconcentration and failure possibility at inner transition zone, resulting inlonger service life of drill pipe.
