SAM Splint
SAM splint is one of the most common and versatile first air equipment designed for immobilizing bone and soft tissue injuries in emergency. It features a thin piece of malleable aluminum between two pieces of lightweight and non-toxic foam. The emergency splint can be used for immobilizing both upper and lower limbs as well as necks, fingers and shoulder joints.
Our MT series SAM splint can be bent into various shapes and curves, and thereby it can become quite strong and supportive for any fractured or injured limb. The emergency medical equipment is notably roentgenolucent, waterproof, compact, lightweight, easy to carry and simple to operate. According to injured area, it can be cut into desired shapes for fast and stable immobilization. In addition, the SAM splint can be used with bandage.
