Usage
The felt wheel is mainly used for polishing of stainless steel, jade, marble, wood, precision instruments, medical equipment, glass products, high-grade furniture, etc.
Features
Different from manufacturing of industrial felt sheets, the production of felt wheel requires longer time for fulling so as to ensure denser structure and smaller pores. It boasts easy control over the felt thickness, and the density can also be manufactured according to demands. All our felt buffing wheels have superior wearing resistance.
Felt wheels are distinct from other felt products. For instance, they cannot be designed with over-high density because of which may cause reduced elasticity. The density cannot be too low, either; as this may cause reduced abrasion resistance. Additionally, the fiber length and thickness also influences the quality of a felt buffing pad. This is why we mainly design and produce our felt wheels according to client-side specific demands.
