Convex Linear Motion Spline
The GJF convex linear motion spline with flange spline nut can make linear motion with interference fit or zero clearance in the direction of rotation, so it can work in high speed straight motion and rotation. Even if the spline shaft is pulled out of the nut, the balls are prevented from falling by the use of retainers. The GJF convex linear motion spline has a compact structure and is easy to assembly. What is more, the GJF convex linear motion spline has a long lifetime and high hardness, as its spline bearing is made of HRC58 quenched alloy steel, and its spline nut is made of HRC58 quenched alloy steel or carburized and quenched alloy structural steel.
The convex linear motion spline is set with flange spline nut. There are three crests equally spaced at 120 degrees on the circumference of the spline shaft, and two rolls of balls (six rolls of balls in all) are held on both sides of each crest.
The convex linear motion spline is commonly applied to spindle of spot welding machine, tool post, indexing shaft, arms of industrial robot, automatic loader, measuring instrument, main shaft of automatic plotting machine, wire winder, main shaft of packaging machine, etc.
