Application
The detuned reactor is used to avoid harms caused by harmonic current. The product series are used in low voltage reactive power compensation devices. In practice, the detuned reactor is cascaded to capacitor, reducing resonating frequency of the capacitor to lower than system minimum(usually 5 and 7), so that it becomes inductive under working frequency. Thus, risks of parallel resonance and amplification of harmonic current are eliminated.

The detuned reactor is applied to low voltage reactive power compensation devices and PFC power distribution stations.

Feature
1. The detuned reactor has low inductance loss and high harmonic resistance as well as fair linearity which avoids electromagnet saturation when overloading,
2. The reactor features easy installation, long service life, temperature control functionality and environmental protecting characteristics.
3. We manufacture the iron core of the reactor with high quality, low loss grain-oriented silicon steel to reduce magnetic leakage and inductance loss of the product.
4. The coils of the reactor are made by copper wires packaged with DuPont NOMEX paper, so that the reactor receives high heat resistance, excellent insulation strength, as well as a tidy layout of coils and an agreeable contour.
5. After assembled together, the coils and iron core of the reactor goes through the procedure of dehumidification→ vacuum varnishing(using H level varnish)→ solidification→ amendment to become an integrated union. Consequently, the reactor reduces noise considerably and features superior heat endurance level, so that it can work safely without noise under high temperature.
6. The core column of the reactor uses non-magnetic material to fix the iron core, ensuring high quality and low temperature rise of the device.
