Descriptions:
FLP series multi-functional granulating coater is a multi-functional equipment integrated with spray drying granulating, centrifugal pelleting, fluidized coating drying in one unit. The machine is compatible with a variety of process operation, especially suitable for granulating for more varieties of products and multi-dosage forms, or pelletizing film-coating in the pharmaceutical industry, food industry, chemical industry and etc. .

Working Principle:
This is a new type micro-particle coater combining fluidization and air flow delivery. Put the powder material to be granulated in a fluidized bed, using the bonding effect of the binder, bridging and aggregation take place within the solid powder, and gradually particles are formed.
Model FLP Series Fluid bed drier has a high efficiency, low energy-consumption and speedy drier. Currently it is widely used in chemical industry, foodstuff industry, pharmaceutical industry and feed-stuff industry and etc. It is suitable to dry powder material or granular material, and it can drying time is as short as 1/5 –1/10 of that of traditional drying oven. It’s drying principles are as below:
The filtered air is heated by heater, then the hot clean air is distributed even through the air distributor plate at the bottom of fluid bed, and then the air is sucked quickly into the drying chamber (material trolley). The powder is strengthened to form a violent fluidization under the action of the speedy hot air. Due to there exists a outstanding “gradient” in temperature and humidity between hot air and material, which strengthens the mass and heat transfer between gas phase and sold phase, finally the material is dried fully. The wet waste air with low calorific value is exhausted out after the fine powder mixed in the air is collected through the filter.
In the above-mentioned drying process, a small amount of fine powder will be blocked outside of the surface of the filter under the action of the ascending hot air stream, meanwhile through back-blowing alternately by the pulse type duster the dust is removed endless, thus the filter is kept unblocked all the time and the drying can continue.

Process Features:
1. Powder material granulating and coating.
2. Granulating and coating for Chinese traditional patent medicine Liquid extract .
3. It can make particles with size of 50 micron and coat the granules.
4. Preparation of porous instant granule, multi-layer sustained-release and approximate-sustained release coating, spherical granulating and coating, and preparation for dense spherical (pill) particles and coating.
5. Drying of powder, granular, pellet material.
6. Multi function on one machine.

Technical Features:
1. It is particularly suitable for powder or granular material, and due to the drying time is short, and the relative velocity between material and hot air is big, therefore it is suitable for heat-sensitive material.
2. Drying capacity is high: due to the material are exerted the wash-out, bumping, and comprehensive drying by the hot air, thus specific surface area is enlarged, accordingly it strengthens the mass and heat transfer, and the drying capacity is high.
3. Effectively controlled final moisture: generally the moisture of material can be controlled within a certain scope, plus free setting of drying time, through the united co-ordination with inlet and outlet temperature, finally the fluid bed drier can control the final moisture index.
4. The new and original pulse type duster: filtration core is made of stainless steel woven mesh screen specially. This kind of corrugated filtration core possesses: big air-ventilating amount, high filtration efficiency, easy washing, a strong replacibility, good performance of anti-static and high-temperature resistance.
5. Obtaining environmental protection standard: the system runs in a sealed and negative pressure situation, which avoids dust flying out; meanwhile there is no dead corners for cleaning and washing, either there is no intersecting contamination, therefore the potential risk of contaminating the operation environment is eliminated.
6. Low labor intensity: according to different material, different methods for feeding and discharging are adopted as to obtain automatic and continuous feeding and discharging.
7. In order to guarantee the stable quality, PLC automatic programming control mode is adopted, and working point flow chart with computerized dynamic display system for operation control; excellent operation control configurations guarantee the high reliability for eqipments’ movement and that the running parameters in the system will not be influenced by artificial and outside factors. The operation control principles are as below:
A. For critical control points, we adopt imported electrical components, setting multiple interlocking and mutual interlocking;
B. Digital instrument display, control for inlet and outlet temperature, over-temperature alarm; display , control and alarm of the temperature inside fluid bed
C. Proportional adjustment valve realizes precise temperature control, whose accuracy reaches to ±1℃;
D. Differential pressure indicator for air distributor and filter,
E. Safe pressure-releasing: There equipped with an Expro membrane at the side, and once the pressure is excessively high inside of drying chamber,the membrane will be broken through and the high pressure will be released outside of the chamber.

Structural Features:
1. The electronic panel type integrated controller PIC programming control, as can implement fully automation and the whole process display.
2. Complete mixing - granulating - drying in the same container, reducing the process, conforming to the GMP specification;
3. The peration is done in the sealed container, no dust flying, improving the operating environment;
4. The bag is made of antistatic material, and equipment operation is safe;
5. Multi-fluid spray gun is applied in binder atomizer using , which can atomize evenly, and high pass rate of finished products;
6. The adoption of circular containers,no dead corners in the equipment, convenient loading and unloading, easy to clean; and the in- contact part is made of stainless steel;
7. Adopt the up-lifting by cylinder to seal, and the sealing is reliable, and the operation is simple;
8. A sewage-discharging device is arranged at the bottom of the main set, which can quickly discharge the accumulated water effected during washing;
9. The whole equipment is easy to operate, easy to disassemble, easy to clean, conforming to the "GMP" requirements.
10.The whole machine has good sealing performance, negative pressure operation, better conforming to the "GMP" standard.
