Block and Brick Sign Making
For customers that need to apply logos or letters to the blocks, PGM offers unique solutions for sign production. Typically, we use forging or CNC processing technology in order to achieve the same size and shape of a mold frame and tamper shoes. In addition, a brushing system is also necessary, as it eliminates potential adhesive problems that occur during the production of concrete blocks. In the final forming stage, the technology is essential to ensure a clean demolding and residue removal.
Forging and milling of tamper shoes design- Free surface design
- One-time tool cost (the same as forging processing)
- The optimized optical smooth transition of natural stone
- The design of heated surface is feasible.
- Carburizing treatment (62-68 HRC)
- Hardening of tamper shoes (62-68 HRC)
- The minimum hardening depth is 1.2mm.
- Hardening of tamper shoes (62-68 HRC)
- The minimum hardening depth is 0.4mm.
- There is almost no residual stress compared with surface hardening.
