Mining Sludge Thickener

Mining sludge thickener is a machine for solid and liquid separation on basis of the gravitational sedimentation. Our product can be divided into various types, such as central transmission type, peripheral roller transmission type, peripheral rack transmission type, updated high efficiency type etc.

This mining sludge thickener adopts the worm gear reducer of low rotational speed and large torque as its main drive. Its casing is designed to be reinforced concrete based elastic structure. Additionally, we can effectively control the feeding quantity and the dosage by manual operation, while the underflow discharge is automatically controlled. Our product combines the double input single output fuzzy logic with PID. The feeding part is monitored by electromagnetic flow meter. The underflow concentration is detected by gamma ray densitometer. Inside our machine, the amount of ore storage is tested by the micro differential pressure meter. The control system is distributed type, which possesses three stages of overload protection so as to guarantee the stable operation.

By adoption of new mechanical structure, this mining sludge thickener can strengthen the coacervation of flocculating agent to the solid particles. It is primarily composed of several supporting systems, including the patented flocculant adding system, degassing tank and automatic control system. It takes advantage of the automatic detection for the flocculation layer, and the conversion of electric signal, to automatically control the speed of underflow pump. Also, it can keep the level at a relatively constant state.

Main Characteristics

The degassing tank is added to our mining sludge thickener, which can prevent the solid particles from being attached to the bubbles. To avoid the introduction of gas, the feeding pipe should be placed beneath the liquid surface level. Our product is also equipped with the overflow weir, so as to make the material flow according to the prescribed route in prevention of the short circuit. Also, the overflow weir is made serrated shape, which can improve the suction phenomenon of local drainage.

Applications

This mining sludge thickener mainly provides both dehydration and concentrating functions during the ore dressing operation. On the operation of wet beneficiation, the concentrates contain a large amount of water, which require for dewatering. In order to increase the ore concentration of next stage and also improve the effect of separation, we must also dehydrate and concentrate the middling.
