High Speed Centrifugal Spray Dryer
In the GZ series high-speed centrifugal spray dryer that uses the atomizing disc in high-speed centrifugal motion, materials are atomized into vaporific droplets for heat exchange with hot air of special distribution in the tower body in a matched motion curve, and evaporated in a very short time to form the even and powdery (granular) Product.
Spray drying is the technology most widely used in the liquid technology shaping and in the drying industry. The drying technology is most suitable for producing solid powder or particle products from liquid materials, such as: solution, emulsion, suspension and pumpable paste states, For this reason, when the particle size and distribution of the final products, residual water contents, mass density and the particle shape must meet the precise standard, spray drying is one of the most desired technologies.
Advantages:
High drying speed, surface area greatly increased after atomization of feed liquid, 95%-98% water instantly evaporated in hot air flow, the time of drying only a few seconds; especially suitable for drying of heat-sensitive materials.
Final product has good uniformity, liquidity, solubility and quality, and high purity.
The production process is simplified, and easy for operation and control. Liquid with 40%-60% moisture content (or even high up to 90% for special materials) can be instantly dried into particles that may not be smashed and screened to reduce the process and improve the purity of product. The particle size, density and moisture content can be adjusted in certain ranges by changing the operating conditions. Therefore, the production process is easy for control and management.
Applications:
Widely used in the drying effects of chemical, food, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, light industry, pesticide and other industries.
