CMC LV (Carboxymethyl Cellulose)
This product has been discontinued and removed from our shelves.
Features and Applications
1. CMC LV stands for low-viscosity carboxymethyl cellulose. It is used to reduce API filtration rate for a great number of water-based drilling fluids, from freshwater mud to saturated saltwater fluid, while making limited contribution to viscosity increase due to its molecular weight. So, it is also a kind of fluid-loss controller.
2. This oilfield chemical avoids the formation of high progressive gel, and it coats clay cuttings to reduce hydration. In addition, our product is commonly applied for thin aqueous solutions.
