Features and Applications
1. Xanthan gum X-1 is a technical-grade polysaccharide biopolymer with very high molecular weight. It works as a kind of low-solidviscosifer to build up gel structure and produce a large increase in the viscosity of all kinds of water-based drilling, completion and workover fluids.
2. This oilfield chemical is non-toxic, readily biodegradable, and can be dissolved in all water systems, including freshwater, seawater, salt brine and heavy brine systems.
3. With the help of our xanthan gum, the viscosity of produced drilling fluid is almost constant regardless of temperature and PH change. Technically speaking, the temperature could vary from 32°F (freezing temperature) to 270°F (static bottom hole temperaure), and the acceptable PH range is 3-12.

Packaging and Storage
Xanthan gum X-1 is packed in 25kg (50lb) paper sacks.
The container should be closed, and then placed at a dry, well-ventilated area that is away from heat, sparks, flames and incompatible materials. For palletizing, banding, shrink-wrapping and stacking operations, please follow safe warehousing practices.
