Supplied in powder granular form, the calcium chloride with a CaCl2 assay of 74% provides excellent water solubility and hygroscopicity. It is a perfect choice for making desiccating, snow-removing and deicing agent as well as for use in food, medical, oil animal sterilization and many other industries.
Uses
1. With strong hygroscopicity, the white, hydrated, granular calcium chloride is often used as desiccants for various industries.
2. In food, electronics and leather industries, it is used for making acrylic resin, and in organic chemical production, it is used as agent for oil and ether alcohol distillation.
3. The CaCl2 dihydrate has been widely used for snow removal of road, parking lot and airports.
4. In oilfield applications, the calcium chloride granule is used in completion, cementing and workover fluids.
5. In refrigeration industry, it is used as liquid coolant, and as gas and liquid medium of air conditioning system.
