Chemical Dosing System (Injection with Deoxidant)
Oxygen absorber dosing systems are chemical dosing packages that are used to inject scavenging chemicals such as carbohydrazide and diethylhydrocylamine. These chemicals are used to lower the level of dissolved oxygen in boiler systems, as oxygen leads to corrosion of components.
Depamu oxygen absorber dosing systems are made up of a dosing tank, metering pump, electrical enclosure, liquid level gauge, safety valve, pulsation dampener, and pipes. This chemical injection system provides automatic and manual control modes.
Automatic Control System Explained
When switched to the automatic control mode, the oxygenabsorber injection system is able to send signals indicative of liquid opacity, flow rate and oxygen content to the PLC, host computer, or DCS which then adjusts the pump speed and piston stroke accordingly. Listed below are some important parameters of our oxygen scavenger dosing system.
Technical Specifications
Adjustable range of flow rate: 0~100%
Input current signal to VFD: 4~2mA
Feedback current signal: 4~2mA
Note that signals indicating the operating status and faults of metering pumps and mixers can be sent to the remote host computer or DCS which then tells the metering pump to start or stop. A total of three modes are available for the electrical enclosure: manual, semi-automatic, and automatic. Dosing tanks of our oxygen absorber dosing system can be supplied in 316 stainless steel or 304 stainless steel.
